A young woman is next in line at Target. When the man (apparently of
mid-Eastern descent) in front of her doesn't have enough money she offers
him a dollar to make up the difference. He is extremely grateful and wants
to make it up to her. She declines and he leaves. The woman pays for her
merchandise and then leaves the store. Upon exiting she is confronted by
the man. He continues to thank her saying that what she did is one of the
nicest things anyone has ever done and since she did something nice for him,
he wants to do something nice for her. He tells her not to drink any Coke
or Pepsi products after 8/3 and quickly leaves.
LAST SATURDAY AT AN IHOP IN MEMPHIS, A MAN FROM IRAN WAS CHECKING OUT AND
WAS SHORT OF CHANGE. THE LADY BEHIND HIM WAS KIND ENOUGH TO OFFER TO TAKE
UP THE SLACK. HE SMILED AT HER AND THANKED HER AT THE REGISTER. WHEN SHE
GOT TO HER CAR, HE WALKED OVER AND SMILED AND TOLD HER BECAUSE OF HER
KINDNESS HE WANTED TO TELL HER NOT TO DRINK COCA COLA ON AUGUST THE 11 OF
2002 AND WALKED AWAY. THIS MAY NOT BE TRUE, BUT WE NEVER THOUGHT THE TWIN
TOWERS WOULD GO DOWN IN SMOKE!! I AM TELLING MY FRIENDS AND MY E-MAIL
BUDDIES AND I ASK YOU TO DO THE SAME.
A friend of Marla, Jimi, and their friend Alex M*******; shared with them an
incident that happened to his mother while shopping at Food Lion in
Kannapolis. She was behind a man of eastern decent. He was six dollars short
having the amount of money to pay for his groceries. Jed's mother handed him
a ten dollar bill, he thanked her very warmly over and over. He waited on her
just outside of the store and began to thank her again. He said she has been
the only person since coming to this country that has been nice to him. He
became very serious looking and told her not to drink anymore Coke products
after this weekend.
She went to the police station and reported the incident. They are going to
notify the
proper authorities to check it out.
JEFF'S SISTER'S HUSBAND- HIS SISTER-IN-LAW WAS AT A CONVENIENCE
STORE AND THERE WAS AN ARAB MAN IN LINE IN FRONT OF HER PAYING FOR SOME
GROCERIES. HE WAS SHORT ABOUT $3.00 SO SHE PAID THE BALANCE FOR HIM.
HE WAITED FOR HER OUTSIDE AND THANKED HER AND WANTED TO DO SOMETHING FOR
HER B/C HE SAID," YOU PEOPLE DON'T DO THINGS LIKE THAT FOR US." SHE SAID
DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT AND STARTED TO WALK OFF. HE STOPPED HER AND SAID,
"I'M GOING TO DO SOMETHING NICE FOR YOU," HE TOLD HER NOT TO DRINK ANY
COKE PRODUCTS AFTER SEPTEMBER 1ST.
SHE CALLED THE FBI, AND HE'S UNDER SURVEILLANCE.
SO TAKE IT FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.
Donna's daughter Gina had a very strange
conversation with her next door neighbor. A very nice couple who Gina likes
very much. Her neighbors wife was at the grocery store and this Arabic guy
was ahead of her at the check out lane. He was a dollar short and was going
to take something back because he didn't have the right amount. The
neighbor tells him not to she'll give him a dollar and don't worry about
it. He tells her no he couldn't possibly take the money and she insist on
giving him the dollar. She tells him if I was in the same situation I
would hope someone would help me out too. He's very thankful and leaves
with his groceries. When she's walking out of the store he's waiting for
her and tells her he would not be able to pay her the dollar back, but
instead he would give her some advice. He told her after August DO NOT BUY
ANY COKE PRODUCTS. Donna said the FBI has been trying to find this guy to
question him.
A friend of mine's cousin was in a Burger King in the US when an Indian man
in front of her did not have enough money to pay for his meal. The cousin
gave the gentleman $1.40 to make up the difference. At first, the man
declined and she insisted as it was only $1.40. The man thanked her with
much gratitude and wondered what he can do to repay her. A short while
later, as the cousin and his mother were sitting eating their meal, the man
approached them and said to them: "The only way I know how to repay you is
to warn you not to drink Coca Cola on August 26th".
As a lot of you know, I work nights in the office at the Lincoln Kroger =
store.
Last night something happened and I thought I'd let you know.
More than likely it's nothing, but I felt the safe thing to do is to
pass
on the information and let you decide for yourselves.
A police officer came in to talk to me about a report he had taken
from a customer. She was in line to check out behind a "Middle-Eastern"
man.
He didn't have enough to pay for his groceries, so she gave him a couple
of dollars to help out. He left and she checked out, and as she was
putting her groceries in her car, he approached her. He thanked her for her
kindness and said " I don't have anything to give you in return except
advice. Don't buy any Pepsi products after September 1."
The woman told the officer that the man seemed very sincere and it
scared her.
That's why she reported it.
A LADY WENT INTO MACDONALDS ON TAYLOR RD IN MONTGOMERY TO GET LUNCH. TWO
MEN WERE IN FRONT OF HER PLACING THEIR ORDER. THEY HAD A HEAVY ACCENT AND
THEY WORE LIKE A TURBAN ON THEIR HEAD. AFTER PLACING THEIR ORDER THEY WERE
LESS THAN $2 SHORT OF HAVING ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY SO THE LADY BEHIND THEM
TOLD THE CASHIER THAT SHE WOULD PAY THE DIFFERENCE JUST ADD IT TO HER MEAL.=20
THE MEN THANKED HER AND WENT TO EAT THEIR LUNCH. AFTER THEY FINISHED THEY
WENT OUTSIDE AND WAITED ON HER TO COME OUT. UPON LEAVING MACDONALDS THEY
APPROACHED HER TO THANK HER AGAIN. THEY TOLD HER SHE WAS THE FIRST ONE THAT
HAD BEEN NICE TO THEM SINCE COMING TO THIS COUNTRY AND THEY WANTED TO GIVE
HER SOMETHING BACK. SHE TOLD THEM IT WAS NOT NECESSARY BUT THEY INSISTED.=20
THEY TOLD HER THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY MONEY BUT SINCE SHE WAS KIND TO THEM
THEY WANTED TO BE KIND TO HER AND THAT AFTER THE 29TH OF AUGUST NOT TO DRINK
ANY MORE COKE PRODUCTS. SHE THOUGHT THEY WERE JUST KIDDING HER AND LAUGHED.
HE TOLD HER PLEASE TAKE ME SERIOUS AFTER THE 29TH DO NOT DRINK COKE
PRODUCTS - PLEASE TAKE ME VERY SERIOUS. THEY THANKED HER AND LEFT.
SHE NOTIFIED THE MONTGOMERY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY THANKED HER FOR
CALLING THEM BUT SHE DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING ELSE. AFTER SPEAKING TO SOMEONE
ELSE WHO IN TURN TOLD THEIR BROTHER HE CALLED THE FBI BECAUSE OF THE JOB
THAT HE HAS. IN 2 MINUTES THE FBI WAS CALLING HER TO GET ALL THE INFO THEY
COULD. THEY TOLD HER THAT THE BOYS IN MOBILE WERE TAKING THIS VERY SERIOUS
AND WAS CHECKING IT OUT.
As I understand it this really did happen this past weekend...
In Danville, KY...this guy from Lebanon,Ky was standing behind
some Iranian guy. The Iraian guy was $2.00 short on his purchase,
so the guy from Lebanon gave him $2.00. When the Leb. guy
made his purchase... he came out of the store and the Iranian
was waiting for him. The Iranian ask the Leb. guy why he had
done the kindness? He replied, "It was just $2.00, I would help
anyone for that. The Iranian said I'd like to repay you your kindness... He told him not to purchase Pepsi or Coca-Cola products
after Sept. 1st."
The guy got back to Lebanon and called the FBI. They said
they were aware of this warning.
This lady is in a checkout line in a store near Tulsa, OK and a man of apparent Middle Eastern decent was in line ahead of her. The gentleman was a few cents short of the amount needed to pay for his purchases. The lady kindly offered to help the man and gave him some change. He told the lady, "Thank you" and exited the store. When the lady later walked out of the store, the man was waiting outside. He spoke to the lady and said, "You have done something nice for me. I will do something nice for you. Do not drink Coke after September 11."
Ok, take this as you will, but I am now a Pepsi Drinker!
Last night I was talking to one of my friends who told me the stangest
thing. She said the mom of a guy we went to high school with had an odd
experience at a gas station. She was standing in line behind a middle
eastern man. The cashier tried to shit the guy out of some money. Our
friend's mom took up for the guy. On the way out of the gas station the guy
said, "Since you took up for me in there, let me warn you not to drink coke
products for the next few months." This scared me to death! Everyone I
know drinks Coke, and that is all they sell on most college campuses. Like
I said, take it as you will, but this morning I stopped to buy a Pepsi
instead of buying Coke here at work. I mean think about it! Coke is a
world wide product.
This was reportedly spoken by a black man to a white woman, who was kind
to him at the post office, in Marianna, Florida. The story is that,
while in the post office, the man realized that he had left his wallet
and money outside in his vehicle. Rather than see him have to go
outside and lose his place in line, the woman offered him a stamp. The
man accepted her offer, concluded his business and left the post office.
When the woman came out of the building, she saw the same man, who had
been waiting for her. He approached her saying,
"Since you were so nice to me, and since you are obviously not
prejudiced, I need to tell you this: Do not drink Pespi after September
21."
A woman helped a man in a panel van with some directions. After she was
so kind to him, he told her, "You're really nice, so I'll tell you this:
Don't drink Coke products after September 8th." Then he sped off. She
took down the license plate numbers and the FBI is following up on the
story.
Well, you all know me and I heard this story last night that I just had to
tell everyone because I freak out about stuff like this. So, here it is:
This girl I know's sister lives in St. Louis. Two days ago she was standing
in line at the gas station to pay for something. A Middle Eastern man was
standing in line in front of her. Whenever he went to pay, he didn't have
enough change. So, just being a nice person, this girl gave him a dollar
bill and said don't worry about it. She paid and then went out to her car
to leave. All of a sudden, the guy from inside came up and knocked on her
window. She rolled it down and he said, "hey, I just wanted to thank you
for that dollar. It was really nice and I want to somehow pay you back."
Ok. The man then just says "Don't drink Coke products after September 6th".
Then turns around and walked away.
This girl is telling the real story! She got really scared and went home to
tell her parents. Who know's if something is really going to happen, but
you all know me and I am not taking any chances. So, I'm stopping today
from drinking Coke products. (But maybe I'll switch back in a week or
two)!!
A woman at HEB gave 3 men from the middle east $3.00 because they were
short on money. The men followed her outside to her car and told her
they were very sorry that they did not have the 3.00 to give back to her
but that they would give her something more valuable. They told her to
spread the word not to drink Coke on 9-11 because someone that works for
Coke is from Afganistan and are planning on putting poison in it. If
you already have coke in the fridge, don't worry about it but don't buy
any new coke for a while. Because I love you all and don't wont you
dead. This is a true fact that came from someone at Hyatt. It is not a
joke. Talk to you later.
About 15 minutes ago one of my housemates was telling me a story about how
one of her co-workers from this summer stopped to help a man of Middle
Eastern descent who had a flat tire on the side of the road. In return,
he told her not to drink any Coca-Cola products made after August 4th.
Then, shortly after hearing that story, I checked my email. In my
sorority's listserv, there was a message from one of my sisters who
graduated last year. Here is her message for you to read - This is no
joke, no internet forward that i got...it is really serious. My mom was on
the phone tonight talking to one of her friends and her friend told her
about something that happened to her friend tonight at the grocery store.
she was apparently in line behind some man from the middle east. it turned
out that his groceries were like 2 dollars more than he had....so she gave
it to him...no big deal. so she paid for her groceries and headed to her
car. when she got outside he was waiting on her. he said that he really
wanted to thank her for helping him and how nice he thought it was. she was
thinking...ok, sure no biggie. then he told her that he wanted to give her
something to show his appreciation because she was so nice. she said, "no
that's not necessary". and he said, "no, really you are nice and i want to
give you something in return. don't drink any coca-cola products after
sept. 21"
I just wanted to tell you all that our Register & Recorder was down to our
office and she just came back from visiting her daughter in NC over the
Labor Day Weekend and her daughter's mother-in-law was in a grocery store
and an arab was in front of her in a check out line and he was a few dollars
short and so she gave him the two dollars. She was next checking out and
when she went outside the door he was waiting for her and told her she was a
very nice lady to do this and that he wanted to warn her not to drink coke
after Sept. 3. and left. She in turn called the police who brought in the
FBI and they checked the tapes from the store to get his identity and they
can not find him anywhere. I am passing this on to all of you because I
know some of you drink coke products and I want you all to be safe. I know
our register/recorder very well and she wouldn't make this up. She spoke
directly with her daughter's mother-in-law right after the incident. Maybe
you should drink water for awhile........
A friend of mine told me yesterday that they were in a grocery store in
Waynesville, NC yesterday... waiting their turn at the checkout counter. A
man of middle eastern decent was in front of them and had run a couple
dollars short of having enough money to pay for his groceries. Being a
typical southern trait, the lady told him and the cashier that she would
cover the $4.00 that he was short. He stood for a moment a looked at her
and then thanked her and went on his way out of the store. When she came
out to her car, the man was standing outside waiting for her. He asked her
why she would do something like that....paying for his items. She told him
that she felt that it was just the nice thing to do, to help people out...no
big deal. He told her that since she had done something nice for him, he
was going to do something nice for her. He then told her not to drink any
Coke or Pepsi products after September 6th.
I have some information that I felt compelled to share. A friend of ours
(actually, one of the girls who works at the restaurant that we are
part-owners in) wanted to be sure that we told this story to everyone we
know. Please spread this along...it's not a joke (We have known this girl a
long time, and she is VERY trustworthy). Here's the deal:
Jennifer (our friend) said that her mother was shopping the other day, and
there was a Middle-Eastern looking fellow in front of her in the checkout
line. When he went to pay, he realized he had accidentally not brought
enough money with him for his purchases. So, Jennifer's mother offered him
the extra money he needed to pay what he owed, and the gentleman took it and
paid his bill. After Jennifer's mother paid her bill, she left the store and
was headed to her car. The Middle-Eastern man had waited for her outside the
store, and he approached her to thank her for her kindness. He then told her
that he wanted to do something nice for her in return, so he was going to
tell her something important. He said that she should NOT drink any Coke or
Diet Coke after the 20th of August, and that was all he said, and he left.
So, Jennifer's mother, of course has taken the information to the FBI, and
hopefully, they will figure out what to do with it. Just the same, I felt
like I needed to share this information....please pass it along.....better
safe than sorry.
Tiffany got a call from her boyfriend today and he said that he
just heard from his neighbor that the neighbors co worker had been in
one of our Iowa City Hy Vee grocery stores the other day and there
was a Middle Eastern man ahead of him paying for his groceries. The
man was a dollar short so the neighbors co worker gave him a dollar.
He thanked him then thanked him again out in the parking lot and also
said since he was so nice to him by helping him out in the store that
he wanted to reward him by telling him something. He told him that he
should NOT buy or drink PEPSI PRODUCTS after September 3rd. That's
all he would say. It's kind of scary. It could easily be a hoax and
nothing will ever come of it but I thought I'd pass it along just to
let people make up their own mind what to do. We drink a lot of pepsi
and other soft drinks that they make but I think we'll stop for a
while and see. Hopefully it's nothing!! They always have said after
Sept. 11th to be on alert for anything out of the ordinary, not to
take things lightly as you just never know. I hope this guy reported
this just in case.
At work last night a friend of mine from Houston's Restruant was telling me
this weird story that happened to her the other day.
She was at the Quick Trip in Westport when an Arab man in front of her did
not have enough money to fully pay for his purchase. Being the nice person
that she is she didn't hesitate to give him a dollar out of kindness. As
she was leaving the man was waiting for her outside. He approached her and
said," Since you were so kind to me i wanted to return the fair. Do not
drink Coke for a least 10 days after September 11".
She was completely freaked out and did call the police and reported what had
happened.
This just happened to her a couple of days ago. I don't know if it is true,
the guy could just be one out of the many weirdo's in Westport. Although it
is really creepy.
Better to be safe than sorry.
I just wanted to let you all know of a true thing that
happened right
here in Monett, MO on Tuesday of this week. I'll try to make the
story as
short
as possible. My dad works for Efco, and one of his men got
hurt in the
eye
so he had to go to the doctor and then over to Ramey's to get
his
prescription filled. Once he got over to Ramey's pharmacy he
was in line
behind an elderly lady, and she was behind a Muslim type man (Osama's
type) with a turban on his head too. Well, anyway, he came up
$2.00 short on
his medicine, and he turned to the old lady, and she said sure,
I'll give
you the $2.00 that you need. Well, then it came time for Brian
(my dad's
worker) to go up and get his medicine and get it paid for and
then he was
headed back out to his car. When he got out to the parking
lot, he was
parked by the elderly lady, and the Muslim guy was standing
there talking
to
her and told him to come over too. He proceeded to tell them
that since
they had been so kind to him that day, that he is going to
return the
favor
and give them a message. He said that after Sept. 11th of this
year, do
not
drink any Pepsi, or Pepsi products!!!! And then he bowed down
to them
said
Thank You again and left. ~~~~~ Ok, I know you're probably
thinking how
weird this is, but it's kind of just like a bomb threat. You
have to take
it seriously. So, I just thought I would share this w/ the
people that I
care about, so if something really does happen you would know.
According to a colleague of mine, his friend was recently shopping in a
grocery store. She was behind a man of middle eastern descent who was
shopping with cash. He was $5 short, and she graciously paid the grocer the
additional monies. He waited for her outside, and thanked her for her
kindness. He said that people had been very rude to him and his family
since 9-11, and he appreciated what she had done. Then he gave her a piece
of advice, "don't drink Pepsi products after 9-1."
A co-worker comes up to me this morning and tells me a story about this guy
in his class:
apparently this guys sister was at a local grocery store buying few items
and there is a man of middle eastern decent in line in front of her that is
short $.75. She pays for it and the man thanks her. She then walks out to
her car and the man approaches her and says something like you are very nice
to have done that, etc. I want to help you. After September 11th don't
drink any Coca-Cola products.
OH! I have a BIG ALERT!
2 weeks ago a friend of Jerry's boss was shopping in Walgreens in South St
Louis and was behind a foreign older lady who was 85cents short on paying
her bill. So she decided to help her out by paying the rest with a dollar
bill. The lady didn't say anything and left. When this friend of Jerry's
boss got in her car, there was knock on her window and it was this foreign
lady. She rolled down the window and the foreign lady told her, DON'T BUY
ANY COKE PRODUCTS AFTER SEPT. 1.
She rain into Walgreens and told the manager but was so shaken that she
forgot to get a license or discription of the car.
I told this to some girls at our Avon meeting last night and one of them
said, Last year, there was a man in am airport who had forgotten his
luggage and when a lady picked it up and followed him to give it to him, he
open the bag and tried to give her some money for helping him out. But she
said no, she couldn't take it and he said Don't get on any planes on Sept.
11. Terees my friend said Moslems believe they have to return good for
good. So take caution!!
Anyone who knows me knows that I don't send gossipy emails around the
office. I wanted to send this out, because I thought it would be
useful.
The mother of Miguel's co-worker gave money to an Arabic man at a Subway
she visited, because he was short of cash, and the worker at subway
would not give the man his food unless he'd paid the full amount.
After they left, the Arabic man thanked this woman, and told her that
this kind of treatment was why he hated Americans (the woman was Puerto
Rican, so I guess he felt that she was not American). He told her that
because she had been kind to her, he would warn her not to drink Coke
after Sept. 20.
She was frightened by the revelation, and not knowing if he was truthful
or not, she contacted the FBI and they are investigating the situation.
I did not want to send this out to frighten anyone, or to ruin business
for Coke, but just to let you have the information and take it as you
will. I would not have forgiven myself if something had happened and I
said nothing.
I received a call from my sister this morning who told me about an
incident that happened in Murrells Inlet earlier today. A friend of hers
was checking out at the grocery store behind a man who was a middle
easterner. He did not have enough money to buy all of his groceries and
started to decide which items to put back. My sister's friend insisted
on paying the small difference so that he could take all of the
groceries home. He was extremely grateful and kept thanking her for
being so kind.
When she was loading groceries into her car he approached her and again
thanked her for her kindness. He said that nobody has been kind to him
or any of his family since 9/11 and that is why he wanted to return the
favor by telling her to not use any Coca Cola products beginning today
8/26/02. He then turned and left.
Hey everyone this is urgent!!!! I dont know how true it is but
listen. My friend called me and told me that her friends mom went to

I just wanted to let you know about the strange thing that happened
yesterday while Dennis and I were getting gas at the Golden Gallon in
Smyrna. Dennis started pumping the gas and went into the store to get a
gallon of milk while the gas was running. About the time he got in the
store I heard the pump click off and looked to find that only $2.00 had
been pumped in so, I got out to restart the gas. As I was doing so, the
lady on the other side of the pump started telling me about what had
happened to her 12 year old son and his grandfather just the evening
before.
They were at the same Golden Gallon to fill grandpa's truck up with
gas. They went into the store to pay for the gas and there was an Arabic
lady in front of them at the counter trying to pay for her purchases
when she realized she didn't have enough money to pay. She needed $8.00
more dollars so grandpa gave her the money she needed. She waited until
he finished paying for his gas and kept asking why did he do it, why did
he give a stranger the money. Grandpa told her that life wasn't worth
much if you can't help someone along the way. The woman looked and him
and said, "I will now help you" She went on to say, "Don't drink any
Coke products after August 31st."
The grandfather went home and called the FBI to report the strange
incident and the lady I met was trying to tell everyone she ran into not
to drink Coke products after August 31st.
I don't know what to make of it, but it sure does make you think.
