Ryder spokeswoman Jennie Sullivan called the email "a hoax" and noted that no Ryder trucks have been reported stolen.
U-Haul spokeswoman Jennifer Flachman said that U-Haul was not aware of any of their trucks being stolen.
Verizon spokesman Jim Smith said Verizon has accounted for each of its vehicles.
