Both Dunkin' Donuts management and the Cedar Grove police have looked into the rumors.
According to Dunkin' Donuts spokesman Michael Lawrence, Dunkin' Donuts has 'reviewed videotape in the shop and spoken with employees on duty there September 11. Based on that, we have no evidence so far to support the allegations. If such evidence is discovered, we will act on it."
The Cedar Grove Police have also investigated the allegations. Captain Richard Vanderstreet stated:
"The police department has received numerous queries from residents about [Dunkin' Donuts] personnel that were acting inappropriately. At this time, we have not substantiated these allegations."

Dunkin' Donuts is not the only business to be hit with rumors that it's employees celebrated the death and destruction wrought September 11. Mobil, National Liquidators and a number of other small businesses were tarred with the same brush.
