This is the third time I've seen these lyrics posted on this group. Unless I'm being thick, the UL content is as follows:

Of course, it's also T. to say that said lyrics were written by Gene Roddenberry as a means of getting a cut of the royalties; that they were never sung or even intended to be sung on the theme tune itself; that they were sung by Nichelle Nichols in the role of Uhura in episode <mumble>; and that the song also appears on a cash-in LP made by Nichols,
as well as one of William Shatner's. But that's just background.

Maybe some of this stuff should get FAQ'd?
