If you want another cite for the eelskin explanation, here's one (although I confess I have dismissed Feedback's claims of voracity for the cleaner polishes off patients story): "...An informant from the US tells us that the offending wallets were made in Taiwan. Yes, they are made from eelskin. But they also have a neat new type of catch - made from two strong magnets which cling together.
