Here ya go, gang: the official word from RR. The stationery is really impressive, too. Notice the careful wording of the letter, which preserves the "Fb" rating of this legend. Notice, also, the beautiful phrase "Rolls-Royce mythology". Typos & spelling errors are all mine; the letter is perfect.

As you are aware, your letter was forwarded to my office for reply as we are responsible for all sales and service matters in North America. I regret the delay in reply.
The tale that you depict in your letter is in fact one of the many stories of Rolls-Royce mythology; and yes we have heard many like it. If it isn't true, it should be and if we could afford it, it would be. But seriously, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars does value each of our owners and will go through great lengths to ensure that each owner is satisfied.
