Auckland is currently hosting "The Incredibly Strange Film Festival." Last Saturday it also hosted "The Incredibly Strange LandRover Full Of Incredibly Strange Coromandelites" up to sample the fare by means of a 1pm-1am marathon viewing session. Damn! I *am* getting too old for this kind of shit.

What can one say about "Reefer Madness" (USA 1936) that hasn't already been said. A true movie klassic - one puff and they're off like minks on amphetamines. If you've only seen the video version I urge you to seek out a release print. Up with "Dr Strangelove" and "The Wicker Man" as one of my three alltime faves.
