Debunked: This froup is an excellent forum for discussing the petty details and intricacies of English grammar, usage, and etymology.

AFU exists to discuss urban legends, not grammar and usage. While there is some overlap between folklore and etymology and the occasional spelling and grammar flame in the froup, there are better groups, like alt.usage.english, to discuss these topics.

So, unless the language question at hand has significant folklore content, it's probably better to seek out a more appropriate group.
