That Oughta Hold the Little Bastards!


Another long-running children's show legend is the one about the children's radio show host who, believing himself off the air, says after the broadcast is supposedly done, "That oughta hold the little bastards!" The person most often implicated in this UL is Uncle Don, a radio personality from the 30s and 40s, but it has featured many children's show personalities.

Debunked: A children's show host said into a live mike, "That ought to shut the little bastards up!" when he thought he had already gone off the air.
