Yet another "what the song really means legend."

Debunked: Phil Collins' song "In the Air Tonight" is about a death witnessed by Phil.

Sometimes its a murder, sometimes an intentional drowning, sometimes he knows the victim, sometimes he knows the killer and sometimes the killer commits suicide.

Documented: ...Sheesh! This was even debunked in Parade magazine.

Parade debunked it in 1992! The song is about Collins' first wife leaving him.
