Impossible: Daylight-Saving Time is an evil manipulation of Time, and will cause chickens to stop laying, cows to become confused, and the extra hour of sunlight will scorch the plants and fade the curtains.

Of course the way we measure time in no way affects its passage, nor does it affect creatures that can't tell time.

Ben Franklin thought it up in Paris semi-jokingly, and several people pushed it throughout history as a way to use less energy in daily life by making more efficient use of daylight hours, reducing dependence on artificial light.
