I'm forever popping bubbles / Popping bubbles of the wrap
Bubbles in bubble wrap contain air. Air is far cheaper than any other gas or combination of gases, and has the added benefit of not poisoning customers and bringing lawsuits upon the manufacturers. There is also no compelling reason to use anything more expensive than air for something so incredibly cheap and disposable as bubble wrap. Admittedly, the air in bubble wrap may not be entirely wholesome. It may contain fumes from the plastic or from the manufacturing process. It is probably not a particularly good idea to you extract air from bubble wrap, put it into a tank, and then breathe it through a mask. But as for releasing air through the manual popping of bubbles, whether inadvertently or deliberately, no problem. |
