Porcelain Pox

Debunked: You can catch diseases (crabs, lice, herpes, VD, etc) from public toilets.

No instances of this have been documented. Most of the bacteria and viruses which cause sexually transmitted disease only remain viable for a very short time outside the body, and require direct mucosal contact for transmission. It is possible (though unlikely) to spread pubic lice by sharing infested towels, sheets, or clothes.
