Debunked: Cook cheated into buying Mrs Fields' recipe, gets revenge by spreading it.

A classic urban legend; many variations (e.g. involving Neiman-Marcus and many other noted retail establishments), but typically the customer is told the recipe costs "two-fifty", assumes that means $2.50, and later is horrified to find it cost $250.00. "The Mrs. Fields Cookie Recipe" in CBA; probably a descendant of the "Red Velvet Cake" UL in TVH.
