Page 1, center column:

Mishaps on the Term Pike

The article dumps heavily on word play involving the Information Superhighway.

On page A5 is the following:

"It's [e.g. Information Superhighway] a moronic term," complains Paul Saffo of the Institute for the Future, a Menlo Park, Calif., consulting firm. "Nobody would dare use it on the Internet," he says.

It goes on ... "Other users would consider them dweebs."

Dear Paul Saffo,

I am well and truly chastized. The depths of the dweebity I have displayed these past few weeks by my moronic sig quotes is quite beyond comprehension.

Please note that never again shall I stray from the path of maximum Menlo Park cool by such banal activity in the, if I may use the term with your permission, Future.

Your most truly,
