While in Chicago recently I picked up a newspaper. This shocking rumor was reported in Chicago Tribune, Wed. Jun 15, 1994:

It seems there are rumors floating among the high-schoolers in the city that cops will pick up gang-bangers, and if the gang-bangers are disrespectful, the cops will drop them off in another neighborhood. The idea is that they will get beat up (or worse!) making their way home.

The alleged practice is known as "terminator run."

The AFU-World-I homework assignment is to determine the voracity of this rumor. Please speak to any shady youngsters or cops you see, and get to the bottom of this. Avoid at all costs those aliens in town to watch the World Cup.

Additionally, it seems that the California legislature is considering enacting legislation to revive the penalty of piling big rocks on the convicted for cases of murder, first made popular in witchcraft cases in Massachusetts Colony. Their reason for doing this is that everyone likes fresh-squeezed OJ.
