In a similar vein, my favourite is the very helpful "PLACE STAMP HERE" found in the top right hand corner of business envelopes. Every word in this little gem is crucial.

PLACE--to keep people from, say, stomping or hammering or steamrolling or sewing or nailing or stapling, etc. their stamp on.

STAMP--Did someone once try to glue a quarter (a coupon, a letter of dispensation from the Postmaster, a check, etc.) here?

HERE--I admit to often having problems with where to put the stamp. I sometimes glue it to my finger. Sometimes it sticks to my tongue. Sometimes I accidentally place it inside the envelope. Oops.

I guess this is why the post office is so efficient, or why post office workers are disgruntled.
