One theory that comes around now and then (especially in rural areas) is the danger of urinating on electrified fences. I have also heard similar warnings about relieving one's self on the third rail.

Can anyone suggest a source of information (other than the obvious - experimentation) to verify or disprove this? Any true stories? I don't have enough FOAFs to have heard any.
