AFU Inc ANNOUNCES A TWO-FOR-ONE STOCK SPLIT
MOUNTAIN VIEW, California -- November 6, 1995 -- AFU Inc., (NASDAQ:AFUQ) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a two-for-one split of its common stock. The stock split will be effected as a stock dividend. Stockholders of record as of the close of business on November 20, 1995 will be issued a certificate representing one additional share for each share held on the record date. These certificates will be distributed on December 11, 1995. Or such dates as may please the Afu board. The stock split will increase the number of shares of Common Stock outstanding from approximately 91,000,000 shares to approximately 250,000,000 shares. Tom Cikowski, AFU's Chief Financial Officer, commented, "The stock dividend is in response to the increase in the market price for AFU's Common Stock over the last several months. The dividend will decrease the price per share, broadening the distribution and improving the marketability of our unique legend products.
